How do I register?

You can register either before shopping or during checkout. To register before shopping, click the Register link at the top of the page and you will be presented with the registration form. When completed, click the Continue button. You can then proceed to add items to your basket and proceed straight to checkout.

Alternatively, add the items to the basket you wish to purchase, click the checkout button and you will be presented with your basket. Clicking on the Checkout button will then take you to the login/register page. Click on the Register button and complete the registration form. When completed, click the Continue button.

Why do I need to register with Transtools.co.uk?

Registering with Transtools.co.uk will allow you to keep track of your orders placed online. Your personal details are securely stored so you will not need to enter your details each time you want to place an order. Registering also allows you to add products to a wish list and subscribe to our newsletters and special offer promotions.

How do I sign in to my account?

Click the Sign In link at the top of any page and enter your email address and password, then click the Login button. You will now see "You are logged in as" and your name at the top of the page.

How do I know if I am logged in to my account?

When you are logged into your account, "You are logged in as" and your name, Logout and My Account will appear at the top of every page.

I tried to Sign In but I receive a message stating 'Warning: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password.', why?

Check that the email address is correct and re-enter the password. The password is CASE sensitive, so ensure that you use the correct capitalisation. If you are still having problems, click the 'Forgotten password' link, enter your email address, click the 'Continue' button and a new temporary password will be generated for you and sent to your registered email address. When you receive this, login to your account, go to the My Account page and click the Change Your Password link to amend the password to one you have chosen yourself.

How do I edit my account options?

When you are signed in to your account, you can click the 'My Account' link at the top of any page to view your account details. From this page you can update your address, personal information as well as view previous orders and wish lists.

How do I find a product?

There are 3 ways to find a product you are looking for.

a. Use the menu system across the top or down the left and browse the categories for the products you are looking for.

b. Enter a product code or name of product into the search box at the top of the page. This is a live search and will start to present you with products after typing 3 or more characters. You can amend what you are typing to find various other products.

c. Alternatively, type what you are looking for and press GO to see all products matching your description.

How do I view a larger image or more details about the product?

To view more information about a product, click the 'More Info' button and you will be presented with the product information page. If you wish to see a larger view of the image, click on the picture and a larger view will be presented.

I've found the product I am looking for, how do I purchase it?

To purchase the item, click on the 'Add to Basket' or 'Buy' button and it will be added to the shopping basket.

How can I view my basket contents?

To view the items you have added to your basket, either click the 'View you Basket' button or the 'Checkout' button and you will be taken to the shopping basket. The checkout button changes to green when there are products in the basket.

I have added a product I no longer wish to purchase, what should I do?

If you have added a product to the basket you no longer wish to purchase, click to view the basket and then click the red cross next to the product and it will be removed from the basket. If you just wish to change the quantity, click in the quantity box and change the desired quantity and click the 'Update Refresh' icon.

How do I complete the checkout and make a payment?

When you have finished adding products to your basket, click the 'Checkout' button and you will be taken to the basket.

a. If you have already logged in, you will be presented with the contents of your basket. Once you are happy with the contents, click the blue 'Checkout' button below the basket contents. You will now be asked to confirm your billing address, delivery address and confirm the shipping cost. After this you will be offered all our payment methods in which to pay for your order. Choose the payment method that best suits you, confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and click continue. Once you have completed the payment, you will be taken to the confirmation, This will have your reference number for this order. At this point, you can log out of the website.

b. If you have not already logged in or have not already registered, clicking the 'Checkout' will take you to the View Basket page. At this point, we cannot calculate the shipping as we require your postcode to do this. If you click the 'Estimate Shipping & VAT' link just below the basket contents, you will be able to input your postcode to calculated the cost of shipping for your order. To continue with the order, click the blue 'Checkout' button below the basket contents and you will be asked to log in with your existing username and password or if you have not registered before, to create a new account. Once you have completed the account form and confirmed you have read and agreed the terms and conditions, click the blue 'Continue' button to continue through the checkout. You will now be asked to confirm your billing address, delivery address and confirm the shipping cost. After this you will be offered all our payment methods in which to pay for your order. Choose the payment method that best suits you, confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and click continue. Once you have completed the payment, you will be taken to the confirmation page. This will have your reference number for this order. At this point, you can log out of the website. An email will be sent to confirm your order and order number.

Can I purchase products without shopping on the web site?

We have 3 shops in Hunmanby, Scarborough and Bridlington, so feel free to drop in and make your purchase over the counter.
