• This stainless steel gauge is used to measure the size of the slots and thus to calculate the area of ventilation provided by a vent where this information had not been marked on to the unit.
• The gauge is stepped in increments of 1mm and will measure vent slots form 5mm to 10mm.
• Simply push the gauge in to the vent slot until it stops and then count down the number of steps until you have the size in mm.
• Then multiply the slot size against the length of the slot, multiply that figure bt the number of slots on the vent and this will then give the area of ventilation
